Wesvet Animal Hospital

Wonderful caring service

Best vet in Nashville by far. My mama cat Ahsoka had extreme complications at birth regarding the kittens. 3 of the 7 were born with broken legs, so I rushed them to the nearest vet and they had no game plan for me and basically told me to just wait it out. I wasn’t satisfied at all with that. So I took them to WesVet a couple days later and was immediately met with caring vets that knew what they were doing. Dr Hayes is amazing and presided them antibiotics that did wonders for the babies, a week later today the kittens have healed wonderfully and are going to make it without complications and I couldn’t be happier. IF YOU NEED A VET TAKE THEM TO WESVET!!!

I recommend WesVet to anyone whenever I get the chance. They have cared for both of my cats with such care and attention, and I’m so grateful to have such a trustworthy and capable vet team i can rely on. They were instrumental in diagnosing one cat’s skin issue, and another cat’s cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery. They are always polite and you can tell they love the animals who come in to their clinic. I will continue to take all pets to Dr. Wes and the WesVet team as long as I live in Nashville

I am so iffy about the amount of stars this place should be given. The doctors/vets are amazing, and I don’t want to negate that for one second. Most of the vet techs are amazing as well. They listen to what you say and offer solutions for every budget. So I never want to say this place is bad. However, I did have to say goodbye to one of my dogs here after they recommended euthanasia, and I think it’s that experience that makes me feel like something could have been better. To preface this - I never walked out without paying, always paid my bills in full, and never had a question about it. Suddenly, at the age of four, one of my dogs got sick. I spent over $2,000 for her to get admitted to WesVets hospital. $2,000. Paid it immediately because what else would I do to potentially save my dog? They called less than 24 hours later with the recommendation of euthanasia. The entire 2-3 hours I spent grieving my dog before she was put down, a woman at the desk would not stop bothering and opening the door to their dog euthanasia room. Every time it was the same question. Not “how are you doing”, but “when will you pay”, “how are you going to pay for this”, “when you’re ready you can give us your card info”. Lady, I’m putting my best friend down. Get some compassion. No one should hold the job she does without having empathy. Completely unacceptable RUINED this place for me.

The nicest staff and vet!! I really appreciate the individual rooms (and no waiting area). They provide coffee for the humans, noise machines so the animals are calmer, and I have always been seen in a timely manner. I can also make same day appointments which is such a relief as a pet parent. I have two dogs and I am glad I made the switch
