I really appreciate this laboratory for existing. My cat, Felix, had his necropsy done here in June. Dr. York was absolutely lovely about the entire process. He had been “not right” for a while, but no one had been able to diagnose him, even after monthly vet visits. Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse one day, and after a day in the ER vet, I had to make the decision to let him go. But I still wanted to know what was wrong, and what had happened. They took his body in the day he passed (a Friday) and had preliminary results for me by Monday. He ended up having a brain tumor - meningioma - in his frontal lobe. I wish I had known while he was alive, but I’m appreciative of Kord for being able to give me closure. Please note, if you want paw prints or anything, make sure you get them before bringing your fur baby in. They are unable to obtain them for you after drop-off. That is my one regret with the process, as I did not know. When you get them cremated, the crematory is unable to obtain them as well.

My experience taking my chicken Bumblebee here was great. They have an after hours drop off so you don’t have to worry about leaving your animal in the fridge overnight. The estimated time for results was 2-8 weeks but I got them in a little over a week. Very detailed and thorough. Would recommend this place to anyone!
