It is a real eye opener when a place of business and care shows you their true colors. I brought my dog and cat in for their wellness visits, the dog also needed some shots and flea/tick medicine. Our appointment was at 3:10 and 3:40, but obviously would be doing them just one right after the other. Shortly after 3:10 they came and took us to a room. Asked all their rooming questions for both of them then left us around 3:18 to go get the doctor. NO ONE came back in until after 3:50. Which means the first appointment time was just wasted and 10 minutes of the next appointment was gone. I tell them I no longer have the time for both pets to be seen, or barely one, so let's just do the shots and get the flea/tick medicine. Instead of being apologetic about making me wait, I was given "You don't have a half hour? We usually block off an hour for 2 pets." Okay, well, I have been sitting here for over half that time and we are 10 minutes into the second appointment so, no, I don't have a half hour. Then while doing my dogs shots, the doctor sneaks in a listen to her heart and lungs, and I wonder why she did that? Yup, to charge me for the wellness visit. When I asked reception if I was charged for that, she said yes and I told her the doctor didn't do anything so I shouldn't be paying for that. So, of course, she goes back to talk about it. Judging by how long it took her, I am sure they had some choice words to say about me when they were the ones wasting my time. They finally come out with the rude tech who was one of the people who didn't care to come back the room for over a half hour, and she says they discounted it since I had to wait. I was fed up and wanted to get my poor cat home since she hadn't been out of her carrier due to their delay, so I paid it and left. That same tech was very nice to start, but once I expressed my frustration over their insane delay, she became less than friendly. Same with Dr. James. We have seen her before and while she would come off very kind and caring, the minute she was approached about me having to sit in there for that long and that I no longer have the time, her entire demeanor changed. True colors of all involved shining through.
I understand places like this can get behind in their schedule. Emergencies may happen. Procedures or exams may take longer due to uncooperative pets. Humans may talk too long and you can't just cut them off. I truly get it and when my appointment is later in the day, I fully anticipate a delay. But over a half hour of no communication? Not a quick check in to tell me they are running behind and are sorry for the wait. Just unprofessionalism and not a single care.
To sum up, don't waste your time here. Literally. Because you will end up waiting a ridiculous amount of time and still be charged.
Edit: when sent the records for my animals, the lovely doctor tried to claim I was on a time constraint of only a half hour when the visit was booked for an hour. How gross of her to LIE when in fact 40 minutes of our 60 minute visit had elapsed before they came back into the room. Just horrible to put that kind of stuff in there when it was very very wrong.
Second edit: after 2 months of nothing being done to correct the blatant lies on their medical records, they have told me that they do not requirement amendment and that my interpretation of the events is different. Ultimately, Dr. James is fine FLASIFYING medical records, a legal document, just so she can incorrectly blame me and this made up idea I did not plan for an hour for 2 pets and not care to indicate that she had an urgent matter come up and my appointment only had 20 minutes left for 2 pets? I guess if she needs it that bad, she can put that incorrect documentation on there and I will just explain in great detail to new vet clinics how they have falsified what is said about me.
Just... don't go here. What an absolute joke of a business.
Finding a vet that can handle my incredibly nervous (rescue, and now also a senior) dog is no easy feat, but these guys knock out out of the park every time!
We've seen 2 different vets so far( Jason Erickson & a woman but i dont remember her name), and both were amazing!!!
Both knew when to be firm and when to back off w/ my dog(she can be a bit cheeky), and took their time!
Not only that, but they were also very knowledgable and patient with me as well, answering all of my (normal as well as silly) questions with not only knowledge, but full attentiveness.
Everyone, all the way from front staff to the vets, did everything they could to put both my dog and I at ease. I love this place!
They not only love animals here, but they also love people, and it shows!
