Recent comments include positive experiences describing compassionate handling, clear explanations, and supportive staff during stressful visits, including care for a dehydrated cat and a new kitten’s vaccines. I had to Make four visit here within a week and a half. They took very good care of my extremely dehydrated cat and worked with me with finances to get my cat taken care of and healthy again. Vet tech Katrina was outstanding with service and compassion.

I am a new kitten owner, and am extra happy with the team at VCA on Murphy Road in Nashville, near Sylvan Park. Dr Coates made me feel like extended family by sharing relatable stories about his own cat, and by being specific about my pet's needs. The vet tech Dori(aka Mahmoud) made extra effort to distract my kitten during her vaccine by offering a yummy cat treat to her, and Lindsey at the front desk was part of a super cordial group who printed reminders for me and suggested possible ways to get a discount on meds through multiple month dosages. All the parts of caring attention make me feel very reassured about VCA clinic. 5 " happy meows" from my kitten, for sure.

Dr. Rice is the absolute best vet I’ve ever had. I was referred to her after my dog spent several days in the emergency room and Dr. Rice literally saved her life!! She’s extremely knowledgeable about all animals (I’ve since gotten a cat who she sees) the absolute best customer service and is just so kind.

This is the second horrible experience I have had a VCA Murphy Road. My first dog I adopted from love at first sight and they make you go to this vet. My puppy was having stomach issues and they insisted on test after test and different medications, costing me hundred and hundreds of dollars. I finally took her somewhere else-- just needed to switch food. This last experience, I again adopted from love at first sight. My dog started having scabs and hair loss on her head, eyes, ears. Again, VCA Murphy Rd wanted to run test after test-- told me they needed to a $250 ring worm test when it is CLEARLY NOT ringworm, charged me HUNDREDS of dollars. I got so angry, took her to another vet today. SHE HAS ALLERGIES AND A DOUBLE EAR INFECTION. That is all. Her allergies are also on her feet and underside-- So obviously the vet did not even do a full body check. And an ear infection seems VERY easy to diagnose when her ears were visibly red and itching. They take advantage of you and will charge you enormous amount of money. There are multiple people who have shared this similar experience in their reviews. I could go on and on but I just hope no one else has to have an experience like I have. Unfortunately, will not be able to adopt from Love at first sight ever again if it is still connected to this place.
